Kaempfert A La Carte

Kaempfert A La Carte

If Bert Kaempfert's notoriety in later years has been accomplished through his early involvement with The Beatles, then we disregard his own, fine recordings at our peril. One of the early pioneers of the lush orchestral pop music that the likes of James Last would later perfect, Bert's own albums are worth seeking out. It is his own abilities as a songwriter that sets him ahead of his rivals, a talent that was later to see him compose such hits as Strangers In The Night.
