Fifteen Poems By Dylan Thomas
Richard Burton / Dylan Thomas

Their names are indelibly linked; Dylan Thomas is acknowledged as one of the finest poets of the twentieth century and Richard Burton’s readings of his work enhanced the reputations of both men. Whilst Burton’s recording of Under Milk Wood is extremely well known and still largely popular, the fifteen poems that make up this album less familiar.
Fortunately, Richard Burton delivers much the same level of performance into the fifteen as he did Under Milk Wood, making each and every one come to life. Recorded in 1954, approximately a year after Thomas’ death, this album has long been considered the definitive recording.
